Character Analysis

The Characters in the Englishman’s boy are amazing. Harry Vincent is the main character in the 1923 plot. He works for Chance and gets caught up in the powerful business corruption. He is just trying to look after his mother and wants nothing to do with Hollywood. He moves to Canada and live a better life. He never gives up in this book except for once. It was a smart thing though. It was when he resigned from Mr. Chance.

Mr. Chance is a rich filmmaker. He has a ton of money and because of this, a lot of power.

The Englishman’s boy, a hard working, intelligent and strong young man. He stands up for himself and lets no one walk over him. He stands up for what is right like when the innkeeper is hitting him, he stabs the innkeeper. Also when he gets upset with the wolfers for slaughtering the Assiniboine and when they rape this one Indian girl. Over the time being with the wolfers, he gets disgusted with them and wants nothing to do with them.

Hardwick is the leader of the wolfers. His horses got stolen from the Indians. He has no respect for animals; like when he is torturing the buffalo. He also has no respect for anyone; like when he slaughters the Assiniboine. He is very feared of though.
