Setting

The setting in the Englishman’s boy jumps around a bit. In the 1873 plot, it is in the wild west. It starts in Fort Benton and then every chapter the wolfers keep moving north to pursue their stolen horses. They start out in The states but then move north into Canada. In 1923 the setting is in Hollywood. Harry Vincent first has to look around for Shorty McAdoo for his stories. Conflicts and important things happen; which I will talk about later, but Harry ends up in Canada working at a movie theatre and Shorty and Wylie planned on going to Canada to escape the drama in Hollywood.
